Arthur M. Blank National Training Center Opens in Georgia

A $200 million hub poised to reshape U.S. soccer development

A New Landmark for American Soccer

The Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center officially opened on May 7 in Fayetteville, Georgia, marking a milestone for the sport across the United States. The 123‑acre complex, funded with a $200 million investment, now houses all 27 U.S. national teams under one roof.

State‑of‑the‑art infrastructure includes 19 immaculate playing surfaces and two indoor arenas that together span approximately 200,000 square feet. The grounds are punctuated by more than 21,000 plants, shrubs and trees, creating a natural backdrop that blends athletic excellence with environmental stewardship.

At the core of the facility is the Nike High Performance Gym, a 20,000‑square‑foot space whose flooring is crafted from reclaimed Nike shoes. The gym can accommodate two full teams simultaneously and features a dedicated recovery room, 20 locker rooms, and 19 meeting rooms designed to support player development and wellness.

Beyond the pitches, the center’s design emphasizes inspiration for younger athletes, offering a clear pathway from youth leagues to the senior national teams. The lush landscaping and modern amenities are intended to foster a new generation of players who view American soccer as a viable and aspirational career.

The inaugural training session welcomed U.S. men’s national team members Tim Weah, Tyler Adams, Weston McKinnie, Max Arfsten and Folarin Bolagun, who praised the facility’s world‑class environment and its potential to elevate the United States on the global soccer stage.
