The U.S. Soccer National Training Center, slated to open just ahead of the 2026 World Cup, is poised to become a cornerstone of American soccer development.
Spanning 115,000 square feet, the facility blends indoor and outdoor spaces, featuring a high‑performance gym, 19 meeting rooms, and a mix of natural grass and artificial turf fields designed for year‑round play.
Its entryway is modeled after a college quad, encouraging gathering, while the landscape includes 4,000 custom bricks, more than 1,100 trees and 20,000 shrubs, creating a lush, welcoming environment.
The center will host over 350 U.S. Soccer staff members daily and is expected to attract roughly 215,000 visitors each year, ranging from elite athletes to youth participants.
Founding partners ŌURA and Nike have contributed technology and apparel expertise, underscoring a collaborative effort to elevate training standards and athlete recovery.
Three regulation‑size natural grass fields, two additional turf surfaces and two sand pitches for beach soccer provide diverse playing conditions, while the 10,000‑square‑foot gym supports sports science, strength conditioning and recovery protocols.
Accessibility is built into the design, with wheelchair‑accessible viewing decks and dedicated charging stations for power soccer chairs, ensuring inclusive experiences for all fans.
The venue will also serve the broader soccer community, offering youth development programs, referee education and a space where athletes such as Auston Trusty, Haji Wright, Alexander Freeman, Chris Brady, Sílvia Viñas, Sebastian Berhalter, Alex Zendejas and Rachel King can train together.
A Vision for 2026 and Beyond
As the World Cup approaches, the center symbolizes a long‑term investment in talent pipelines and community engagement, promising to shape the future of the sport across the United States.
