New York City FC has unveiled a sweeping summer program that ties its brand to the excitement of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, promising fans a series of immersive experiences across the city.
A Summer of Celebration
At the heart of the initiative is City Corner, a temporary fan zone set up at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, where supporters can step into a recreation of a classic New York City block and get an early glimpse of the club’s next chapter in Queens.
The space will feature interactive games, prize giveaways, live performances and the chance to meet first‑team players and the club’s mascot, Sky the Pigeon, creating a vibrant gathering point for the fan base.
Beyond the fan zone, the club will showcase its future home, Etihad Park, through the Etihad Park Stadium Studio, allowing visitors to explore ticket options and learn about the development that will anchor the club’s presence in Willets Point.
World Cup Tie‑Ins
The summer itinerary also includes participation in the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca‑Cola at the American Dream Mall, sponsorship of the 15th Annual NYFEST at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 5, and a presence at Fanatics Fest in the Javits Center, cementing the club’s connection to global and local soccer culture.
Community‑Driven Events
Additional community‑focused events include the Consulate Cup, a diplomatic soccer tournament, the Community Cup Final organized by the club’s nonprofit City in the Community, and the adiCup NY Tournament at adidas’ Home of Soccer hub, highlighting the club’s commitment to diversity and grassroots sport.
