Benton Parks and Recreation Calls for Volunteers to Empower Players in Miracle League Baseball
Benton Parks and Recreation is inviting volunteers to become 'buddies' for its Miracle League baseball program, which serves children and adults with physical or mental disabilities. The initiative offers two formats — a buddy league on Mondays and an independent league on Tuesdays — and is sponsored by Summerwood Sports. Open to participants from Maumelle, Little Rock, Hot Springs and surrounding areas, the program provides a fun, inclusive atmosphere where families can relax while watching their loved ones play.
