A historic class
The 2027 NASCAR Hall of Fame class was unveiled this week, revealing a trio of legendary drivers who will be honored later this year.
Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick earned their places on the Modern Era ballot, while veteran Larry Phillips was selected via the Pioneer category, highlighting the diverse pathways to induction.
Lesa France Kennedy, who serves as executive vice chair of NASCAR, was recognized with the Landmark Award, underscoring her pivotal role in the sport’s growth.
Induction Details
The ceremony will take place on Friday, January 22, 2027, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will bring the total membership of the Hall to 73.
Since its inception, the Hall of Fame has celebrated 56 previous inductees, making this upcoming class the 17th group to be enshrined and reflecting the enduring legacy of stock car racing.
