Amazon Prime Video Takes the Helm of NASCAR’s Crown Jewel Broadcast

Five 2026 Cup Series races will debut on streaming, reshaping the sport's television landscape

The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season will open its second year of streaming coverage on Amazon Prime Video, kicking off with the iconic Coca‑Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The race signals a pivotal transition from traditional broadcast partners to a digital‑first platform.

Prime Video will broadcast five marquee events next year, including the Coca‑Cola 600, the spring race at Nashville Superspeedway, a summer showdown at Michigan International Speedway, a July date at Pocono Raceway and a debut on the new Qualcomm Circuit in San Diego.

The shift follows a sweeping seven‑year, $7.7 billion agreement that reshapes the series’ television landscape, trimming Fox Sports’ slate to 14 races and reducing NBC Sports’ lineup to the same number.

Joining the Prime Video booth are veteran voices Adam Alexander, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Steve Letarte, who bring together decades of racing insight and a fresh digital‑first perspective.

Alexander, who previously anchored Fox Sports’ NASCAR coverage before moving to the CW Network in 2025, will be joined by Earnhardt, who sat out the 2024 season before returning, and Letarte, who also appears on NBC Sports alongside Jeff Burton and Leigh Diffey.

TNT Sports will also carry a complementary schedule that includes events at Sonoma Raceway, Chicagoland Speedway, EchoPark Speedway, North Wilkesboro Speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, while NBC will take over the Iowa Speedway race in early August.

Fans can tune in to the Coca‑Cola 600 live on Prime Video beginning at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, marking the first time the historic endurance race will be streamed as the centerpiece of the new deal.
