On the mound, Alex Krugh of Galesburg‑Augusta remained unbeaten with a 0.73 ERA and 107 strikeouts, while Owen Tappenden from Coldwater posted a 1.37 ERA and 108 strikeouts, underscoring the region’s pitching depth.
At the plate, Blake Brown of Gull Lake hit .372 with seven doubles and six home runs, earning all‑conference honors, while Max Markham from the same team batted .476 with 16 doubles and nine homers, also receiving conference recognition.
Other notable hitters include Joseph Fair of Bronson, who posted a .447 average with 46 hits and 28 RBIs, and Carson Liles from Union City, who hit .437 with nine doubles and two home runs, both securing all‑conference nods.
The team also features standout all‑rounders such as Nolan Chard of Union City, who helped his squad to a 22‑11 record with 73 strikeouts and a 2.28 ERA, and Reid Stukey of Bronson, who combined a .987 fielding percentage with a .370 batting average.
Marshall contributors Lincoln Fuller and Jaden Spence each surpassed the .380 mark, while Colin Stealy added 42 hits and 35 RBIs, rounding out a deep pool of talent recognized by the Enquirer.
Dayton Ennis from Coldwater, a three‑time all‑conference pick, played a pivotal role in his team’s district and regional title runs, while Jeremiah West and Dalton Williams from Colon provided leadership that helped their club finish 10‑9.
