Frisco to Host Two-Day Media Spectacle
The Big 12 Conference has confirmed that the 2026 Monster Energy Big 12 Football Media Days will take place on July 7 and 8 in Frisco, Texas. The event marks the latest iteration of the conference’s premier media gathering, now officially branded as the 2026 Monster Energy Big 12 Football Media Days.
Each day will feature eight member institutions, with each school represented by its head coach and a group of student‑athletes. The format is designed to give media and fans an early glimpse of storylines, key players and tactical approaches that will shape the upcoming season.
Coverage will be distributed across multiple platforms. ESPNU will broadcast the first three hours of each day live, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central Time, while a portion of the opening day’s programming will also air on ESPN2. BYUtv will produce the linear telecasts, ensuring a dedicated broadcast partner for the event.
ESPN’s senior coordinating producer Kevin Connors will serve as the host, guiding the audience through the proceedings. He will be joined by analysts Dusty Dvoracek and Louis Riddick, who will provide expert breakdowns of the teams and prospects on display.
