The Cougars' football program announced a multi-year agreement that will see the Entrata logo stitched onto the upper left shoulder of every BYU jersey beginning with the 2026 season, marking the first instance of a program-specific patch in the school's history.
A New Era for Cougars Athletics
Beyond the visual update, the partnership encompasses a suite of community initiatives, in-venue branding opportunities and a series of fan-engagement activations that will be rolled out across BYU's home games and related events.
Entrata, a Utah-based technology firm specializing in AI-driven property management software, boasts a valuation of $4.3 billion and serves millions of residents worldwide, positioning the company as a major player in the prop-tech sector.
The deal also sets the stage for BYU's season opener on September 5 against Utah Tech, a matchup that will debut the new jersey design before the Cougars enter conference play.
While the Big 12 conference has already secured a multi-year patch arrangement with Monster Energy, the Entrata partnership represents a distinct, home-grown collaboration that underscores the university's push to diversify its athletic sponsorships.
‘We are thrilled to welcome Entrata to the BYU Athletics family,’ said BYU athletic director Brian Santiago, emphasizing the alignment of values between the university and the tech firm.
Adam Edmunds, CEO of Entrata, added that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation and community impact, promising that the collaboration will extend beyond the field through various outreach programs.
