Ford and NASCAR Team Up for a Patriotic Veterans Day Race in 2026

A limited‑edition Super Duty package and charity partnership highlight a campaign launched aboard the USS Midway.

Ford Motor Company and NASCAR announced a joint campaign that ties the automaker’s heritage to the United States’ 250th birthday, with a distinct focus on the military community. The partnership brings together two iconic American brands to celebrate service members and their families through a series of events timed around Veterans Day.

A salute to service on the nation's 250th anniversary

The centerpiece of the effort is a Veterans Day race scheduled for November 11, 2026, that will showcase a fleet of Ford Mustang Dark Horse R cars. The event is designed to honor all six branches of the U.S. military, weaving ceremonial tributes into the racing action.

Alongside the race, Ford will introduce a limited‑edition Super Duty Proud to Honor package for the F‑250, F‑350 and F‑450 trucks. The trucks feature patriotic styling and darkened exterior trim, and a portion of each sale will be donated to Blue Star Families, a nonprofit that provides support to military and veteran families.

The collaboration also extends to community outreach. Ford Philanthropy will host a Driving Skills for Life program for local military teens, teaching critical safety techniques for young drivers. The broader 250th‑anniversary promotion will also offer employee pricing on most new 2025 and 2026 Ford and Lincoln vehicles across the United States.

The campaign was unveiled aboard the USS Midway in San Diego, where actor and Marine Corps veteran Rob Riggle joined Tim Clark, NASCAR’s executive vice president and chief brand officer, and Nick Ford, director of corporate strategy at Ford. The Zac Brown Band performed at the ceremony and will headline the concert that accompanies the race later in 2026.
