Four‑star shooting guard Chase Lumpkin traveled to Tuscaloosa in May for an unofficial visit, where he toured the facilities, met the coaching staff and got a feel for the offensive system. He left impressed, highlighting the staff’s vision and the campus atmosphere.
Lumpkin, a McEachern High product from Powder Springs, Georgia, brings a well‑rounded stat line: 17.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game on the Nike EYBL Circuit. His versatility as a playmaker and scorer fits the modern pace of Alabama’s game.
The recruit has already amassed offers from more than 20 programs, including Auburn, Ole Miss and Tennessee, but his focus remains on finding the right fit. In addition to Alabama, he is slated to visit Kentucky, Georgia, Florida State, Louisville, Oregon and UCLA in the coming weeks.
