The team’s driver roster includes Casey Mears, Chad Finchum, Josh Bilicki and Timmy Hill, each of whom has logged starts across the season’s early slate.
Mears secured a historic milestone by qualifying the No. 66 entry for the Daytona 500, marking the first time since 2020 that the team has made the sport’s premier event.
Finchum, who leads the lineup with six starts, encountered a setback at North Wilkesboro Speedway when a rear‑gear failure forced a DNF, highlighting the technical fragility that has defined the team’s season.
Despite the setback, the team’s best results to date have been 28th‑place finishes at both Talladega and Nashville, outcomes that reflect a steady climb in competitiveness.
Upcoming Race Schedule
The schedule will see Garage 66 sit out this Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but the organization has announced plans to run in five additional dates, among them the playoff‑eligible events at Bristol Motor Speedway, Richmond Raceway, Darlington Raceway, Charlotte Motor Speedway and a return to Talladega Superspeedway.
Josh Bilicki is slated to take the wheel for the September playoff race at Bristol, while Timmy Hill has already piloted the No. 66 at Darlington and Charlotte, adding veteran experience to the mix.
With a mix of rookie talent and seasoned drivers, the team is positioning itself to capitalize on the remaining opportunities, aiming to convert limited starts into meaningful results before the season’s conclusion.
