Iowa State’s basketball future is on full display as the Cyclones bring their 2027 recruiting class to the Nike Peach Jam, the country’s largest high school showcase.

Ranked No. 1 by 247Sports, the 2027 cohort features three high four‑star prospects — Josiah Harrington, Donovan Davis and Jack Kohnen — each poised to make an early impact.
Team Assignments and Schedules
Kohnen and Davis will wear the colors of Team Herro, a squad that finished the season 13‑2 and tied for the league’s best record; their slate includes matchups against Jet Academy, Vegas Elite, the Nightrydas, PSA Cardinals and Kingdom Hoops. Harrington, meanwhile, will represent Brad Beal Elite against the Indy Heat, Mokan Elite, AB Elite, PG Elite and Meanstreets.
Statistically, Kohnen averages 10.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for Team Herro, while Davis contributes 9.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Harrington’s production for Brad Beal Elite sits at 10.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
A Promising Outlook
With head coach T.J. Otzelberger already integrating these prospects, the Cyclones hope the exposure at the Peach Jam will accelerate development and reinforce recruiting momentum heading into the next season.
