iRacing Confirms NASCAR 26 Development Amid Expanding Racing Portfolio

Following the success of NASCAR 25, the studio teases new spin‑offs and a revamped soundtrack

iRacing has officially confirmed that the next installment in its NASCAR franchise, NASCAR 26, is currently in development, building on the strong reception of the recently released NASCAR 25.

The announcement came during the latest episode of the iRacing Downshift podcast where Kevin Bobbitt Vice President of Marketing and Communications at iRacing outlined the studio’s roadmap and emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering a more immersive experience.

Longtime NASCAR driver and analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr also took the opportunity to tease improvements to the series soundtrack suggesting that the upcoming title will feature a refreshed musical backdrop that better captures the sport’s energy.

Beyond the mainline title iRacing Studios is expanding its portfolio with several spin off projects including a dedicated IndyCar Game and an expansion of the World of Outlaws Dirt Racing platform both of which are slated for release in the coming months.

NASCAR 25 itself launched in October 2025 for PlayStation and Xbox with a PC version following in November marking a significant milestone for the partnership that began when iRacing secured the official NASCAR license in 2023.

A New Chapter for NASCAR Gaming

Fans can look forward to a deeper integration of official NASCAR content, enhanced graphics and a broader range of racing series that promise to keep the virtual grid as competitive as the real world.
