A New Chapter for the Revolution
The New England Revolution announced a significant roster move on Tuesday, confirming that winger Jack Harrison has been granted a U.S. Green Card and a P‑1 visa, clearing the way for him to be classified as a domestic player.
Harrison’s arrival on July 25, 2026, marks the culmination of a lengthy negotiation that brought the English international from Leeds United to MLS under a Designated Player contract that runs through the 2029‑30 season.
The 27‑year‑old left‑footed winger brings a wealth of experience, having amassed 54 goals and 50 assists in more than 375 professional appearances across England, Italy, the United States and beyond.
His new domestic status is expected to reshape the Revolution’s roster planning, giving the coaching staff greater flexibility to allocate international slots and to build a more balanced attack.
Revolution sporting director Paul McDonough praised the move, stating that Harrison’s versatility and work ethic align perfectly with the club’s vision for sustained competitiveness.
Fans will get their first glimpse of the Englishman on Saturday, August 8, 2026, when New England hosts Houston Dynamo FC at Gillette Stadium. The match is scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff and will be streamed live on Apple TV.
The game also marks a rare primetime slot for the Revolution’s broadcast partners, including 98.5 The Sports Hub, Rumba 97.7 FM and Nossa Radio USA, who will provide extensive coverage across radio and digital platforms.
