Six Macomb County high school baseball players have been honored as All‑State selections by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association, a testament to the region’s rising talent.
Dream Team Honors
Among the 29‑player All‑State Dream Team, Richmond senior Logan Evans and Romeo senior Nick Kaminski earned spots, joining an elite group that includes three catchers, three first basemen, seven infielders, six outfielders, four utility players and six pitchers.
Both athletes also compete in the summer circuit with the Detroit Prospects organization, a platform that has helped launch several local prospects into college programs.
Division‑Level First‑Team Selections
In Division 1, Utica Ford’s Christian Tracy, St. Clair Shores Lakeview’s Kyle McCabe, Lakeview’s Gavin McKee and Romeo’s Nick Kaminski were named first‑team, while Division 2 featured Richmond’s Logan Evans and Dominic Bonnetti alongside Grosse Pointe North’s Deshawn Edwards.
Evans has committed to NCAA Division II’s Saginaw Valley State University, and Bonnetti has pledged to continue his career at the University of Notre Dame, underscoring the caliber of recruits emerging from the county.
The recognitions reflect a broader surge in baseball excellence across Macomb County, where programs continue to develop players who attract attention from top college and professional scouts.
