A Sustainable Upgrade for the Grizzlies
The University of Montana announced this week that Montana Knife Company (MKC) has become an official partner of Grizzly football, securing a permanent on‑field logo spot at Washington‑Grizzly Stadium.
The eight‑year commitment will embed the MKC emblem across the playing surface, giving fans in‑person and television audiences a new visual focal point.
Construction on the field replacement began on May 11, with crews aiming to finish the project by mid‑June. The upgraded turf, supplied by FieldTurf, is designed to be more environmentally friendly, reducing waste and extending the life of the surface.
The timing ensures the new field will be ready for the 2026 season opener on August 29, when the Grizzlies host Southern Utah in a highly anticipated matchup.
Fans can also look forward to fresh season‑ticket packages for the seven‑game home slate, now available through GrizTix.com.
Learfield, the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Montana Athletics, will help showcase the revamped stadium experience across broadcast and digital platforms.
