NASCAR Canada Shifts Double-Header to June 7 at Autodrome Chaudière

Rain-delayed event will feature Bud Light 125 and Michelob Ultra 125 races, with a revised qualifying and starting-position format

Postponement and New Schedule

NASCAR Canada announced that the weekend originally scheduled for early June will now take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the 0.25‑mile paved oval known as Autodrome Chaudière in Quebec.

The revised program will feature a double‑header, headlined by the Bud Light 125 and the Michelob Ultra 125, each running 125 laps for a total distance of 31.25 miles.

Qualifying will consist of two consecutive laps, with the fastest effort determining the starting grid for the first race; the grid for the second race will be set by the quickest lap recorded in the opening event.

Positions one through fifteen will be locked in by qualifying performance, while spots sixteen through nineteen will be reserved for the highest‑ranking team owners in the 2025 championship standings.

An additional provisional spot, twentieth, is set aside for any former NASCAR Canada Series champion who competed in the 2025 season but failed to earn a spot through qualifying.

The Bud Light 125 Race 1 will run without scheduled pit stops, while the Michelob Ultra 125 will follow the same no‑stop format, emphasizing pure speed over strategy.

Teams are allotted a maximum of four tires for practice, four for qualifying and four more that can be designated as emergency changes, which may only be fitted in cases of a flat, damaged wheel or when pressure falls below the McCreary‑specified minimum.

Emergency tires must be used only if approved by NASCAR officials and cannot be brand‑new, sticker‑tread tires.

Broadcast coverage will be provided by REV TV across Canada, while U.S. viewers can stream the action live on the official NASCAR Canada YouTube channel.

Race 1 is slated to start at noon, with Race 2 following at 2:30 p.m., and there will be no scheduled breaks between the events.

The 2025 pole position was claimed by Donald Theetge, and the 2025 race winner was Will Larue; their performances will be referenced as the series looks ahead to the 2026 edition.
