NASCAR Teams Up with The Rolling Stones in Rock‑Infused Racing Video

Young drivers join legendary band in a cross‑generational collaboration that blends speed and music

A Cross‑Generational Fusion

NASCAR has teamed up with the legendary rock group the Rolling Stones to produce a music video that blurs the line between racing and rock 'n' roll.

The visual, shot on the streets of Chicago and at the iconic Chicagoland Speedway, follows three of the sport’s rising stars — Connor Zilisch, Carson Hocevar and Jesse Love — as they trade helmets for guitars, pretending to be members of a touring band.

Set to the opening track ‘In The Stars’ from the Stones’ freshly released album ‘Foreign Tongues’, the clip shows the drivers cruising through the city’s Navy Pier and Plaza of the Americas before ending up on the track, turning the whole event into a high‑octane concert.

Megan Malayter, NASCAR’s vice president of licensing and consumer products, said the partnership was sparked when the band reached out to the series, eager to tap into a younger demographic while reminding longtime fans of the band’s timeless appeal.

The collaboration also brings a limited‑edition merchandise line and special vinyl pressings of ‘Foreign Tongues’, giving supporters a chance to own a piece of the crossover. It reflects NASCAR’s broader effort to stay relevant to Gen Z and Millennial viewers without alienating its core audience.

Adding to the star‑studded cast, popular YouTube automotive personality Garrett Mitchell, known online as ‘Cleetus McFarland’, makes a cameo that underscores the growing overlap between motorsport fans and digital influencers.
