SiriusXM announced this week that it has renewed its long‑standing agreement with NASCAR to continue broadcasting the three flagship racing series. The deal guarantees fans race‑by‑race reporting and a dedicated 24/7 stream on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, reinforcing the platform’s role as the primary audio home of the sport.
Jared Fox, senior vice president of sports programming at SiriusXM, said the extension reflects a shared commitment to delivering unparalleled coverage that keeps listeners engaged throughout the entire season. "Our partnership with NASCAR is a cornerstone of our sports portfolio, and this renewal ensures that fans receive the depth and immediacy they expect," Fox remarked.
A New Era for NASCAR Broadcasting
Nick Skipper, NASCAR’s managing director for media strategy, praised SiriusXM’s extensive coverage and highlighted the strategic value of the extended alliance. "SiriusXM’s reach and expertise have been instrumental in bringing NASCAR’s story to millions of listeners, and we look forward to building on this momentum," Skipper noted.
The agreement arrives just days before the Coca‑Cola 600, a marquee event scheduled for Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The race serves as a high‑profile showcase for the renewed partnership, offering advertisers and fans a premium platform ahead of the summer racing surge.
Beyond NASCAR, SiriusXM continues to dominate the U.S. sports broadcasting landscape, holding rights to major leagues such as MLB, the NFL, the NHL and the NBA. In its latest financial report, the company posted $2.09 billion in revenue and a net profit of $245 million for the first quarter of 2026, marking a 20 percent increase year‑over‑year. The service now reaches nearly 33 million subscribers and an estimated 255 million listeners worldwide.
