U.S. Soccer has teamed up with DC to launch a limited‑edition comic that brings together the men’s national team and the World of Tomorrow’s mightiest heroes.
When Soccer Meets Superheroes
The publication, titled “Justice League: Heroes of the Pitch,” imagines an original adventure where eleven U.S. men’s national team players join forces with Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League.
Mauricio Pochettino, the current head coach of the USMNT, is depicted guiding a combined squad of athletes and icons, adding a tactical twist to the narrative.
The comic is written by Dave Wielgosz, features cover art by Pop Mahl and interior illustrations by Serg Acuna, and showcases the collaborative spirit of both worlds.
Fans can purchase the collectible at select DICK’S Sporting Goods locations and through the retailer’s website, as well as at the official U.S. Soccer Store.
A Spanish‑language edition will soon be released on DC Universe Infinite, expanding access for a broader audience.
