The Arthur M. Blank National Training Center, a $200 million complex situated 20 miles south of Atlanta in Fayette County, Georgia, opened its doors on May 7, 2024. The 123‑acre site now houses all 27 of the United States’ national soccer teams under one roof.
The campus boasts 19 playing surfaces — 17 outdoor and two indoor — covering roughly 200,000 square feet of indoor space. A 10,000‑square‑foot Nike High Performance Gym, built from recycled Nike shoes, allows two full squads to train simultaneously, while a recovery room, 20 locker rooms and 19 meeting rooms round out the amenities.
Players have already praised the environment. Forward Tim Weah called the facility “state‑of‑the‑art,” while midfielder Tyler Adams noted how the new fields surpass the modest pitches of his youth. Midfielder Weston McKinnie described the center as “a huge step forward for soccer in America,” and defender Max Arfsten expressed excitement about the recovery resources. Even Folarin Bolagun highlighted the fun of the table‑tennis area.
A Vision for the Future
Beyond elite training, the center is designed to inspire the next generation. Lush greenery — over 21,000 plants, shrubs and trees planted in the fall of 2025 — creates a vibrant backdrop intended to motivate young athletes of all ages and skill levels to pursue the sport.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching — co‑hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico — the training hub is positioned to give U.S. Soccer a competitive edge. The organization hopes the state‑of‑the‑art venue will translate into stronger performances on the world stage.
