Elkins YMCA’s Girls’ Summer Basketball League Celebrates Success and Calls for Community Support
The Elkins YMCA’s inaugural Girls’ Summer Basketball League brought together six teams and 44 girls from Randolph County and neighboring communities, fostering skill development, confidence and new friendships. A Free Throw‑A‑Thon fundraiser on August 5 will support new equipment and HVAC upgrades, with the season culminating in final games and a pool party.
