Argentina’s Dual Hockey Teams Reach World Cup Semifinals
Both Argentina's men's and women's national field hockey teams have secured spots in the 2026 World Cup semifinals, joining the Netherlands as the only nation with both squads in the last four. The women's team, known as Las Leonas, advanced after a goalless draw with Belgium, while the men's side earned their place with a 5‑3 victory over India. Their upcoming matches will pit them against Australia and Germany, respectively, in a bid for a seventh championship.
