Jamie Spurgeon, a 6‑4, 205‑pound tight end and quarterback from Minarets High School in O’Neals, California, announced his commitment to the University of California, Berkeley, to play both football and baseball in the class of 2027.

Top 2027 defensive back Hayden Stepp, a Las Vegas native, is being courted by Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and California. With Alabama currently leading, each program is leveraging official visits to secure his commitment.
