Pleasant Plains Girls’ Soccer Secures Third Sectional Title
Pleasant Plains girls' soccer team won their third sectional championship by defeating Williamsville 1-0. The Cardinals will now advance to the super sectionals, facing Alleman from Rock Island. The lone goal was scored by Raelynn Brammer in the first half. The team's defense, including goalkeeper Emma Sabatka, held on for the victory. Pleasant Plains aims to return to the state finals, while Williamsville's season ends with their most decorated class in program history.
