Nike has added a new chapter to its athlete partnership strategy by sealing name, image and likeness agreements with 19 of the most promising football prospects in the United States.
The contracts were revealed in the wake of the athletes’ performances at The Open Finals in Oregon, where senior and junior competitors caught the attention of the company’s sports marketing team.
Ann Miller, Nike’s executive vice president of global sports marketing, said the signings underscore the brand’s belief that these players represent the future of the sport.
Among the seniors, names such as Elijah Haven, Jamarrin Simmons, Jaxon Dollar, JuJu Johnson, Gabriel Osborne Jr., Quentin Hale, Myson Johnson‑Cook and Peyton Houston earned the spotlight, while juniors Jermaine Cobbins, Madoxx Davis and Neimann Lawrence also secured deals.
The college cohort includes Jared Curtis, Chris Henry Jr., Trinidad Chambliss, Cam Coleman, Trey'Dez Green, Kewan Lacy, Dante Moore and Colin Simmons, each of whom will now benefit from Nike’s support as they transition to the next level.
A new frontier for athlete compensation
By aligning with rising stars before they enter college, Nike is positioning itself at the forefront of a rapidly evolving marketplace, one that rewards performance on the national stage and offers athletes unprecedented commercial opportunities.
