Nike has unveiled a new wave of endorsements that will see seven current Alabama Crimson Tide football players join the company's roster, swelling the total number of signed athletes to eight when the previous deal with Ryan Coleman‑Williams is counted.
A Fresh Wave of Talent
The newcomers include quarterback Keelon Russell, edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre, defensive backs Bray Hubbard, Zabien Brown and Dijon Lee, as well as freshman wide receiver Cederian Morgan and running back EJ Crowell. All seven are set to bring fresh energy to a unit that already boasts returning starters Pierre, Hubbard and Brown.
Russell is currently battling Austin Mack for the starting quarterback role, a competition that could shape the Tide’s offensive outlook early in the season. Meanwhile, Crowell and Morgan are expected to make immediate impacts as true freshmen, hoping to carve out significant playing time.
The group is also notable for its geographic roots; Morgan, Pierre and Crowell all hail from Alabama, as does Coleman‑Williams, underscoring the state’s deep talent pool.
Nike also secured the commitment of 5‑star quarterback prospect Elijah Haven, who has pledged to the Crimson Tide, further bolstering the program’s future at the quarterback position.
The endorsements place Alabama among just 14 collegiate programs that have at least one athlete signed to Nike, reflecting the brand’s strategic focus on high‑profile college football programs.
