A Hall of Fame Celebration
The 2027 NASCAR Hall of Fame class will welcome Larry Phillips, Kevin Harvick, and Jeff Burton, rounding out a group that has shaped modern stock car racing.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., himself a member of the Hall, serves on the voting panel that selected the new inductees and shared his enthusiasm publicly.
"He finally got it," Earnhardt Jr. said of Phillips, reflecting on the longtime recognition the driver deserved.
"Well deserved," he added of Harvick, acknowledging the champion’s impact on and off the track.
"The Mayor!!" echoed through his comments for Burton, a nod to the driver’s respected presence in the garage.
Earnhardt Jr. recounted years of on‑track battles with Harvick and Burton, underscoring the personal connections that enrich the Hall’s narrative.
As a Hall of Fame member, he noted that the new class brings three more friends into what he calls the sport’s most exclusive club.
Legacy and Friendship
The induction ceremony promises to blend celebration with reflection, honoring both individual excellence and the camaraderie that defines NASCAR’s history.
