Timberland Pro has partnered with NASCAR to become the official protective footwear and safety toe partner, weaving its brand into the fabric of the sport’s premier racing series.
A Strategic Alliance for Safety and Brand Visibility
The agreement will see Timberland Pro’s safety footwear integrated across NASCAR’s digital and on‑site platforms, ensuring that drivers, crew members and track personnel have access to certified protective gear.
Beyond product placement, the partnership is expected to spawn co‑branded apparel and safety solutions developed in collaboration with NASCAR teams, blending performance engineering with the rugged aesthetic of Timberland Pro.
Ryan Murphy, head of marketing at Timberland Americas, said the alliance provides a platform to celebrate skilled trade professionals, whose expertise keeps both the workshop floor and the pit lane running smoothly.
Craig Stimmel, senior vice president and chief commercial officer of NASCAR, noted that Timberland Pro’s commitment to safety aligns with the sport’s respect for the hardworking individuals who keep events safe and efficient.
The collaboration also nods to a historical connection, as Timberland Pro was a sponsor of Brett Bodine Racing in the early 2000s, adding a layer of nostalgia to the new deal.
Financially, VF Corp. reported a 3 % revenue increase for Timberland in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, and announced the opening of three new full‑price stores in the Americas, underscoring confidence in the brand’s growth trajectory.
Industry observers see the partnership as a model for cross‑sector collaborations that prioritize safety, brand storytelling and workforce development, suggesting that the synergy could inspire similar ventures between apparel and automotive entities.
