Wisconsin Considers 35‑Second Shot Clock for High School Basketball
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control has conditionally approved a 35‑second shot clock for basketball, with a full‑season vote scheduled for April 2027. If passed, the rule would become mandatory in all varsity games by the 2028‑29 season, aligning Wisconsin with a national trend that already sees 32 states using the clock.
