A Rising Star's Decision
The Iowa Hawkeyes have extended a scholarship offer to Carib Morris, a 6‑foot‑2 forward who is already being heralded as one of the most coveted prospects of the 2029 class.
Morris currently ranks No. 11 nationally according to ESPN’s SportsCenter NEXT – Terrific 25 list, a testament to her blend of size, skill, and scoring ability that has drawn interest from programs across the country.
During her freshman season at South Forsyth High School she averaged 27.7 points per game, a performance that earned her first‑team All‑State honors from the Atlanta Journal‑Constitution and cemented her status as a top talent in Georgia.
Beyond the high school circuit, Morris competes for HER Elite on the Nike EYBL circuit and attended USA Basketball’s 2026 Women’s Junior National Team minicamp in Phoenix, Arizona, further showcasing her potential on a national stage.
While Iowa is the latest addition to her list of suitors, Morris also holds offers from Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan, Oregon, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Texas and Iowa State, underscoring the breadth of her recruitment.
