Clemson's Blue Ribbon Elite Program Marks 25 Years
Clemson University has revealed that five of its football standouts have been chosen for Nike's Blue Ribbon Elite program, a collaboration that commemorates a quarter‑century of partnership between the school and the sportswear giant.
The initiative goes beyond mere brand representation, seeking to partner closely with athletes and universities to inspire students and surrounding communities through campaigns, product innovation and creative direction.
The newly selected Tigers include junior wide receiver T.J. Moore, senior defensive end Will Heldt, sophomore running back Gideon Davidson, junior wide receiver Bryant Wesco Jr. and junior cornerback Ashton Hampton.
Nike also announced the addition of five‑star wide receiver commit Jamarin Simmons and several other top prospects to its NIL roster, expanding the program's reach.
A Childhood Dream Fulfilled
Will Heldt, one of the newly inducted athletes, said that joining the Nike family represents a childhood dream come true, underscoring the personal significance of the partnership.
