A Hall of Fame Celebration
The NASCAR Hall of Fame will welcome a new class of inductees in early 2027, headlined by veteran driver Kevin Harvick, who amassed 60 Cup Series victories and captured the 2014 championship.
Harvick first entered the Cup Series after succeeding Dale Earnhardt following the legendary driver’s fatal crash in 2001. His early triumph came at the 2007 Daytona 500, a victory that cemented his place in the sport’s modern era.
Joining him will be Jeff Burton, a 21‑time Cup Series winner and the 1994 Rookie of the Year, who added six victories in 1999 and remains a respected ambassador for the sport.
Also honored is Larry Phillips, a pioneer whose career is estimated to include between 1,000 and 2,000 wins across both dirt and asphalt surfaces, a testament to his versatility and longevity.
Lesa France Kennedy, who will receive the Landmark Award, has been a driving force behind many of NASCAR’s transformative initiatives, shaping the organization’s growth and community outreach.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for January 22, 2027, promising a night that celebrates not only individual achievement but also the collective evolution of stock car racing.
