A Day of Play and Purpose
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will host its third annual City Connect Showcase as part of Dodgers Dreamteam Day on July 26 at Dodger Stadium, bringing together more than 5,000 youth, families and community partners for a day of baseball, celebration and service.
Supporting the Community
The event will feature a baseball game between the 2025 Nike RBI Junior Baseball World Series champions and 2026 Nike RBI regional teams, with participants wearing special Los Angeles Dodgers City Connect jerseys that blend LA street culture and Dodgers heritage.
Former Dodgers players James Loney and Kenny Landreaux will join the dugouts as assistant coaches, lending their experience to guide the young athletes.
A community resource fair will provide free food, Dodger Dogs, water, health screenings, eye exams and hygiene kits, while partners such as UCLA Health, Vision to Learn, Baby2Baby and Los Angeles Public Works will offer additional services.
Looking Ahead
The showcase is part of a broader effort that currently serves 17,000 youth across 156 locations, aiming to expand to 25,000 participants through high-quality baseball and softball programming, academic support and life-skill development.
Attendees will also receive tickets to the Dodgers versus Milwaukee Brewers game on August 14, and a watch party on Dodger Vision will let families and local organizations follow the action together.
