2027 NASCAR Calendar Unveiled
NASCAR has released its full 2027 schedule across the Cup Series, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the Craftsman Truck Series, promising a season that blends historic landmarks with fresh destinations.
The lineup features the comeback of the NASCAR San Diego event at Naval Base Coronado from July 30 to August 1, while the iconic Coca‑Cola 600 will once again grace Charlotte Motor Speedway as part of the traditional holiday weekend.
Reviving Classic Races
Fans can look forward to the re‑introduction of the Bristol Night Race in August, restoring its long‑cherished evening slot, and the return of the NASCAR All‑Star Race to North Wilkesboro Speedway, a venue that has shaped the sport’s folklore.
Daytona International Speedway will host the Wheatley Vodka Clash on February 13, 2027, kicking off Speedweeks and setting the tone for a year that also includes the championship‑deciding weekend at Homestead‑Miami Speedway, freshly upgraded with a $20 million investment.
Innovation and New Frontiers
A new In‑Season Challenge tournament will run over five races, offering a $1 million prize purse and adding a competitive edge to the mid‑year schedule.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the Craftsman Truck Series are slated to appear at Bowman Gray Stadium and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, expanding the geographic footprint of NASCAR’s national series.
Beyond the track, NASCAR announced a partnership with the United States Navy to host events at Naval Base Coronado, with plans to roll out similar collaborations at additional military installations beginning in 2028.
These announcements underscore a strategic effort to marry tradition with innovation, ensuring that both long‑time supporters and new audiences find compelling reasons to tune in throughout the 2027 season.
