Nike Expands Elite Athlete Roster with Clemson Stars

Eleven Tigers from football, gymnastics and softball join Nike’s Blue Ribbon Elite NIL program

A Strategic Move for Nike and Clemson

On July 31, Nike and Clemson unveiled the addition of eleven athletes to the Blue Ribbon Elite Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) roster, a program designed to fuse athlete identity with brand collaboration.

The football contingent includes Gideon Davidson, Ashton Hampton, Will Heldt, Bryant Wesco Jr and TJ Moore, each signing with the swoosh as part of the university’s growing list of Nike‑affiliated talent.

Beyond the gridiron, the roster also welcomes gymnasts Anna Flynn Cushion, Quinn Kuhl and Audrey Snyder, alongside softball players Sarah Breaux, Marian Collins and Sierra Maness, expanding Nike’s reach across multiple sports.

Clemson athletic director Graham Neff praised the partnership, noting that Nike has been central to the Tigers’ recent championship performances and that the new roster reinforces a long‑standing alliance.

Ashton Hampton, who described representing Nike as a lifelong dream, said he has worn the brand exclusively throughout his career, underscoring the personal significance of the deal.

With fall practice set to begin on August 6, the Tigers open the season against LSU in Baton Rouge on September 5, a matchup that will be broadcast on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET.

A New Chapter for Tiger Athletics

The expanded roster not only bolsters Nike’s athlete portfolio but also signals a deepening of the university’s strategic vision, positioning Clemson’s athletes to leverage brand partnerships as they chase future titles.
