Nike has announced a sweeping expansion of its football roster, bringing together the nation’s most coveted high school prospects and a select group of elite college athletes under its growing name, image and likeness program.
The new signees were unveiled at Nike’s The Opening showcase held on the company’s Philip H. Knight Campus, where scouts and coaches witnessed the athletes’ performances before they earned their spots on the roster.
A New Generation of Talent
Among the high school talents are Jermaine Cobbins, Madoxx Davis, Jaxon Dollar, Quentin Hale, Elijah Haven, Peyton Houston, Myson Johnson‑Cook, Juju Johnson, Neimann Lawrence, Gabriel Osborne Jr. and Jamarin Simmons. They join college standouts such as Trinidad Chambliss, Cam Coleman, Jared Curtis, Trey’Dez Green, Chris Henry Jr., Kewan Lacy, Dante Moore and Colin Simmons, each of whom brings a distinct skill set to the program.
Nike’s approach goes beyond contracts; the company provides personalized mentorship, design collaborations and resources that help athletes thrive both on the field and in their communities. This support reflects a broader vision of using sport as a platform for broader social impact.
The additions follow a lineage of athletes who have previously shone at The Opening, including legends like Jerry Rice and Barry Sanders, as well as recent stars such as Saquon Barkley, Kyler Murray and Ja’Marr Chase. With six active Super Bowl champions and dozens of All‑Pro selections already associated with the brand, Nike’s football ecosystem remains among the most decorated in the industry.
As the new cohort prepares to sign their NIL agreements, the company emphasizes that each athlete will receive tailored opportunities to stand for something bigger, reinforcing Nike’s commitment to shaping the next generation of football leaders.
