DePaul Basketball Secures Caisson Permit for $42.4 Million Practice Facility in Chicago
A caisson permit has been granted for a new DePaul University basketball practice facility slated for the northwest corner of W. Belden Avenue and N. Sheffield Avenue. The $42.4 million project, led by HNTB and Antunovich Associates, will demolish existing 19th‑century row houses and a 1925 courtyard building to make way for a seven‑story structure featuring a brick façade, floor‑to‑ceiling glass, rooftop solar panels and dedicated spaces for sports medicine and team lounges.
